Yes. For investment in Listed entities, an investor is required to open a demat account in his/her own name.
Yes, NRI can invest in PMS through NRE or NRO account. There are some additional documentations required in such cases.
Tax treatment for the investor is same as if the investor is accessing the capital market directly. Investors should consult his/her tax advisor for the same.
Ideally, client who is investing in PMS , should consider anything between 3+ year horizon, as it`s a personalised and focussed investment strategies.
Clients can invest via funding directly the amount he/she wish to invest ,minimum of 50 Lakh. He can also do Stock Transfer

The clients can withdraw partial amount from their PMS. The value of investment in the portfolio after withdrawal shall not be less than the minimum investment amount.
All clients have an option to invest in the products / investment approaches directly, without intermediation of persons engaged in distribution services.
